From the South A11 (expressway ) heading in the Pisa direction:
At the Pistoia exit go onto ring road towards Abetone direction
At the Pistoia Centro exit head in direction of Montecatini/Lucca
Turn right on B-road for Lucchese towards Montecatini
Go past hamlet at Stazione Masotti, travel the entire length of Serravalle hill
Turn right to Marliana (after the big stone church on the right)
600 mt after this turn (you are on Marlianese road) in front of “Mostro del Lago” (a small sport-fishing lake) turn right on Via Lipe and continue for 1km (1.609 miles) into the forest.
From North (expressway ) heading towards Florence direction :
Exit at Montecatini Terme and ensure you keep to the right when road branches stay on the right. At T junction turn right and after 40m turn left at railway crossing and then turn right towards Pistoia. Distance before the next turnoff to the left is .......km.
Go past the hamlet called “la Colonna”, go straight on B-road towards Lucchese.
Go across the little bridge (you are in Ponte di Serravalle hamlet) and turn left towards Marliana (before the road goes up in the Serravalle hill).Its a tiny turnoff so look out for a sign for the Rosa Bar and immediately after turn left. 600 mt after this turn (you are on Marlianese road) in front of “Mostro del Lago” (a small sport-fishing lake) turn right on Via Lipe and continue for 1km (1.609 miles) into the forest. Note the signboards to the farm read “Agriturismo Terra Mia”
